Giannis Farazis — Mazi sou, kathe stigmi

Your first meeting: what to bring

What happens at our first meeting, and what helps to have with you.

A quiet café with tables for a talk
  • About 45 minutes

Enough time to get to know each other and look at what you need, with no rush.

  • Nothing to sign

The first meeting is about getting to know you and noting what you need. No application or policy is signed.

  • The way that suits you

At the office in Nicosia, by video call or by phone, in Greek or English.

What we talk about

  • What you want to protect: your family, your income, your health, a loan, your retirement or your children’s studies.
  • What you already have: insurance, a provident fund, savings, and what GESY covers in your case.
  • Where the gaps or overlaps are, in plain words.
  • What amount each month is sensible for you, so that it does not become a burden.
  • The next steps, if you want to go on: what I will prepare and when we will look at it together.

What to bring

You do not need everything. Whatever you find easily from the list below makes the conversation shorter and more useful.

  • The policies you already have (life, health, accident, savings), or at least the insurer, the type and the premium.
  • If you have a mortgage or another loan: the balance, the term and the monthly instalment.
  • A rough monthly household income and the main costs.
  • If you belong to a provident fund or a group plan at work, any statement you have for it.
  • Your questions, written down, so that none is forgotten.

If we talk by video call or by phone, have the same papers next to you. You do not need to send me anything beforehand.

What you do not need

  • Medical files or test results: they are not needed at the first meeting.
  • Bank account or card numbers.
  • Original documents: copies or a photo on your phone are enough.

After the meeting

After the meeting you decide whether to go on. If you do, I prepare a proposal in plain words, what it covers, what it does not and what it costs, and we go through it together whenever suits you. You can take it with you and think about it for as long as you need.

One minute before you book

When you book online, you can answer six short, optional questions: household, work, loans, what you already have and what matters to you. The answers reach me with your request, so the meeting starts from there.
